Fully automatic control of the die and coextrusion feedblock
The patented PAM option from Reifenhäuser fully automatically adjusts flat dies and coextrusion feedblocks for cast film production. It shortens changeovers by an average of 25 minutes, saves energy and ensures reproducible quality independent of the operator.

Description
On flat dies, PAM autonomously adjusts and controls the flex lip and thus the thickness profile; depending on the version, it also controls the restrictor bar, width adjustment and slot opening by moving the lower lip. Operation without thermal expansion bolts reduces energy consumption.
On the Coextrusion Adapter PRO, the only system that allows individual layers to be profiled while the line is running, PAM fully automates this control and adds recipe management.
More than 150 PAM systems are in use on the market. They can be supplied with a new Reifenhäuser line or retrofitted to existing Reifenhäuser dies and dies from other manufacturers.
