heatanalyser
Early detection of smouldering hotspots and hot objects on the conveyor
Based on intelligent image analysis, heatanalyser detects smouldering spots and hot objects in the material flow at an early stage. It thus helps to prevent fires in operation and to limit their spread.
Benefits
- AI-based analysis of temperature profiles
- Detection of the temperature of objects hidden in a pile of material
- Analysis of temperature changes over a defined time window
- Area heat sources weighted more heavily than point sources
- Selectable trigger temperature in the range 0–400 °C
- Configurable intelligent temperature compensation to minimize false alarms
- Images from the IR and VIS HD camera sent to configurable e-mail distribution lists
- Web interface for sensor configuration and monitoring
- Built-in VPN router for internet connection and remote maintenance (LAN, WLAN, LTE)
- Fire prevention and mitigation in the plant
- Material monitoring on conveyor belts 500–1,500 mm wide

Description
heatanalyser uses intelligent image analysis to detect smouldering spots and hot objects at an early stage. It thus provides effective support for preventing and containing fires in operation.
A dual camera system (IR and VIS) and AI-based analysis of temperature profiles make it possible to determine the temperature even of objects hidden in a pile of material and to track temperature changes over a defined period. Extended heat sources are given greater weight in the evaluation than point sources. The trigger temperature can be selected in the range 0–400 °C, and configurable intelligent temperature compensation reduces the number of false alarms.
In the GNV version, the detected objects are ejected continuously without interrupting operation. Images from the IR and VIS HD camera can be sent to freely configurable e-mail distribution lists, the sensor is configured and monitored via a web interface, and a built-in VPN router (LAN, WLAN, LTE) provides internet connectivity and remote maintenance.
