Dynisco's Echo™ Series melt pressure sensors offer quality performance and value for plastics processing using standard configurations and pressure ranges. Echo sensors are designed to meet customer requirements by providing a combination of economic value and performance for general extrusion applications while providing ±0.2% repeatability when measuring process pressures. Use the Echo series sensors when the application requires quality measurements for optimized control, but not the expense of all the other features. Echo sensors have been designed using the best engineering practices and are backed by Dynisco's full two-year warranty - double the protection of similarly priced sensors. Echo transducer diaphragms are titanium-aluminum nitride coated as standard, providing better performance than less efficient titanium nitride coatings. Dynisco technology is widely accepted by OEMs and end users around the world. Echo series sensors are available with 3.33 mV/V, 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC outputs designed to work with most industrial control systems. In addition to melt pressure measurement, the Echo series offers optional melt temperature measurement using J, K type thermocouples or resistance thermometers. The Echo series features a 1/2-20 UNF or M18 thread for installation in standard sensor mounting holes. Other mounting configurations are available.

Echo™ Series - With a rigid rod and a flexible capillary

< p>Echo -Flex1, HiRes JPEG

Pressure sensors with flexible capillary are a professional solution suitable for applications with limited space or exposure to radiant heat from heating elements of production lines. A thoughtful extended design places the sensor electronics out of the reach of the radiant heat source, reducing the risk of damage.

The flexible capillary is designed to be damage resistant and allow for a high degree of bending, making installation and handling easier. sensor. It is necessary to properly fix the sensor head in the attached adapter, which is part of the package. To achieve optimal performance, we recommend placing the adapter on a part of the machine where there are no unwanted vibrations or shocks that could negatively affect the sensor.

Sensors of this series cannot be combined with optional equipment such as coating or special membrane construction.
