Spinnerets and micro-components
Enka Tecnica precision spinnerets, jet strips and micro-components
Enka Tecnica, part of the Reifenhäuser Group, manufactures spinnerets for nonwovens, melt spinning and wet and dry spinning, nozzle strips for hydroentanglement and precision microcomponents. It serves machine builders and fibre and filament producers with the highest precision requirements.
Benefits
- Complete spin packs up to 8 m long
- Over 100,000 holes per spinneret
- Round and profiled holes
- Long service life thanks to precious metal alloys
- Jet strips with high hardness, longer service life and short delivery times
- Jet strips in various layouts, dimensions, hole densities and hardnesses
- Nonwovens (spunbond, meltblown)
- Melt spinning – filaments and staple fibres
- Wet and dry spinning – acetate tow, viscose, aramid
- Hydroentanglement

Description
Enka Tecnica invented the metal spinneret in 1910 and focuses on hole precision, homogeneity within the spinneret and component properties.
For nonwovens, it supplies complete spinning beams up to 8 m long, spinnerets, feed and perforated plates, and distributors (coathanger). For melt spinning, it manufactures long-life spinnerets for mono, BiCo and TriCo fibres, microfilaments, and round and profiled capillaries with high-quality coatings.
For wet and dry spinning (acetate tow, viscose, aramid, etc.), it manufactures spinnerets made of stainless steels, precious metal alloys or tantalum with round or profiled holes and more than 100,000 holes, including holders and spinning sets.
The nozzle strips for hydroentanglement are exceptionally hard and have a longer service life. Microcomponents include hollow fibre spinnerets for liquid filtration in healthcare and drinking water treatment.
Typical materials
- stainless steels
- precious metal alloys
- tantalum
