PT4625-5M-6/18 (order code 04625000133) – melt pressure sensor by Dynisco, PT series. Main parameters: accuracy ± 0.50% FSO, process connection 1/2-20UNF, pressure range 5000 psi, rigid stem length 15 cm, flexible capillary length 46 cm.
The PT46X5 series transducer is a ±0.5% transducer, ideal for general-purpose melt pressure measurement requiring simple installation, repeatability and reliability. PT46X5 transducers provide an industry-standard amplified 0 - 5 Vdc signal designed to work with DCS and PLC systems; 1 - 6 Vdc outputs are also available. The PT46X5 transducer features zero and span potentiometers that allow the transducer to be adapted to process conditions. Optional configurations with a thermocouple or resistance thermometer are available to provide melt temperature. The PT46X5 transducer has a 1/2-20UNF thread for installation in standard transducer mounting holes and can be supplied with various electrical connections.

Our pressure transducers offer an efficient, accurate and robust solution for reliable and safe pressure measurement. They are used in a wide range of industries, where they monitor and measure melt pressure and keep production processes running optimally. Thanks to their resistance to the high temperatures and pressures typical of these applications, they are a suitable choice for a wide variety of uses. When selecting a transducer, it is important to consider the specific requirements of your application, such as the temperature range, the pressure range and the materials the transducer will come into contact with. Choosing the right transducer ensures reliable, accurate results and a long, trouble-free service life. Installing the transducer in the mounting hole of the production line is straightforward.

Pressure transducers with a flexible capillary are a professional solution for applications with limited space or exposure to radiant heat from the heating elements of production lines. Thanks to a well-thought-out extended design, the transducer electronics are located away from the source of radiant heat, reducing the risk of damage.
The flexible capillary is designed to resist damage and to allow a high degree of bending, which makes installing and handling the transducer easier. The transducer head must be properly secured in the adapter supplied with it. For optimum performance, we recommend mounting the adapter on a part of the machine that is free from undesirable vibration or shocks that could adversely affect the transducer.
The rigid stem length and flexible capillary length can be tailored to individual requirements, as can other optional components. This ensures maximum flexibility when integrating the transducer into a wide range of industrial applications.
