PT415D-5M-6/18-B314-B173 (order code 1415040133B314B173) – melt pressure sensor by Dynisco, PT series. Main parameters: accuracy ± 0.50% FSO, process connection 1/2-20UNF, pressure range 5000 psi, rigid stem length 15 cm, flexible capillary length 46 cm.
The PT415D pressure transducer, with an accuracy better than ±0.5%, is the ideal choice for food and medical applications requiring high accuracy and easy maintenance. It is a washdown transducer with sealed 1/2-14 NPT conduit wiring or an optional six-pin hermetically sealed Bendix connector. It uses a special Inconel 718 diaphragm and a heat-resistant, mercury-free NaK fill with a high accuracy of 0.5% of span and excellent repeatability and reliability. It meets hygiene regulations and FDA and USDA requirements.

Our pressure transducers offer an efficient, accurate and durable solution for reliable and safe pressure measurement. These transducers are used in many industrial sectors, where they monitor and measure melt pressure and ensure optimum operation of production processes. Thanks to their resistance to the high temperatures and pressures typical of these applications, they are a suitable choice for a wide variety of uses. When selecting a transducer, it is important to take into account the specific requirements of your application, such as the temperature range, the pressure range and the materials the transducer will come into contact with. Choosing the right transducer guarantees reliable and accurate results and a long, trouble-free service life. Installing the transducer in the mounting hole of the production line is simple.

Pressure transducers with a rigid stem are easy to install in the mounting hole of the production line thanks to their simple and robust design, which is suitable for applications where the transducer is not exposed to radiant heat from the line and the electronics are not exposed to extreme temperatures. We do not recommend installing these transducers vertically above the line (12 o'clock position), as radiant heat may adversely affect the service life of the transducer electronics. In such cases, we recommend a transducer design with a flexible capillary, which allows the electronics to be moved away from the radiant heat, ensuring a long service life. The main advantages of this type of transducer include resistance to shocks and vibration, enabling them to withstand mechanical stress, which extends their service life and reduces the need for maintenance. They are also characterized by high accuracy, ensured by high-quality materials and advanced measuring technology, which is essential for efficient process control.
