The agglomerate catcher captures and rejects oversized pellet clusters coming from the underwater pelletizer before they enter the rotor section of the dryer.

Description
It is made of 304 stainless steel and bolted to the dryer inlet; it is fitted with an inclined grate and a sealed door. Depending on the dryer size and system requirements, it is operated manually or pneumatically.
