The Dynisco TPT463E series transducer is ideal for melt pressure applications that require easy installation, repeatability and reliability. TPT463E transducers provide an industry-standard 3.33 mV/V signal designed to work with most pressure indicators.
The TPT463E is fitted with a 6-pin Bendix connector. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available, providing melt temperature and pressure at a single point. The TPT463E has a UNF1/2-20 thread for mounting in standard transducer mounting holes and, if required, can be supplied with a range of other electrical connections.

Melt pressure transducers – Combined transducers with rigid stem, flexible capillary and temperature sensor
Combined pressure transducers with a flexible capillary are a professional solution for applications with limited space or exposure to radiant heat from the heating elements of production lines. Thanks to the well-thought-out extended design, the transducer electronics are located away from the source of radiant heat, reducing the risk of damage.
These transducers are also fitted with a temperature sensor, and the customer can choose the sensor type: a type J or K thermocouple or an RTD (Sensor RTD). With a compatible temperature sensor selected, the customer also obtains the melt temperature from a single process connection, which increases the efficiency and accuracy of measurement.
The flexible capillary is designed to resist damage and allow a high degree of bending, which makes installing and handling the transducer easier. The transducer head must be properly secured in the bracket supplied with the transducer. For optimum performance, we recommend mounting the bracket on a part of the machine that is free from unwanted vibration or shocks that could adversely affect the transducer.
This transducer series can be customized to your specific needs. You can choose the rigid stem length and the flexible capillary length as well as the mounting thread. In addition, the transducer can be fitted with various options, such as the type of fill or a special coating, to ensure maximum durability and functionality in your particular industrial environment. This flexibility allows the transducer to be fully tailored to your specific requirements, ensuring optimum integration and performance across a wide range of applications.
