The PT 4656XL models are ideal for measuring melt pressure in the nozzle or manifold in injection moulding applications. The flexible capillary extends from the electronics housing to the tip installed in the machine's melt, ensuring unrivalled strength and extended sensor life.

Each model has a built-in signal amplifier with a selectable output signal for data acquisition or SPC/SQC control programs. The amplified signal offers better noise immunity than standard mV/V signals. The transducers are supplied as standard with a 1/2-20" UNF-2A process connection and a robust Inconel 718 diaphragm. Thanks to the union nut, installation is very easy even in locations with restricted access.
