PT420 Melt pressure transducers - With rigid stem

Pressure transducers with a rigid stem are easy to install in the mounting hole of the production line thanks to their simple and robust design, which is suitable for applications where the transducer is not exposed to radiant heat from the line and the electronics are not exposed to extreme temperatures. We do not recommend installing these transducers vertically above the line (12 o'clock position), as radiant heat may adversely affect the service life of the transducer electronics. In such cases, we recommend a transducer design with a flexible capillary, which allows the electronics to be moved away from the radiant heat, ensuring a long service life. The main advantages of this type of transducer include resistance to shocks and vibration, enabling them to withstand mechanical stress, which extends their service life and reduces the need for maintenance.
