The MDA 422 is a transducer with an accuracy of ±0.25% of full scale, ideal for applications requiring high accuracy, easy installation, repeatability and reliability. These transducers provide an industry-standard 3.33 mV/V output signal designed to work with most pressure indicators and controllers. MDA 422 series transducers are fitted with a six-pin Bendix connector, and configurations with thermocouples or RTDs for melt temperature measurement are optionally available (TDA models). The transducers have a 1/2-20" UNF thread for installation in standard mounting holes and can be supplied with a range of other connectors and connections.

Description of options

GC8 - Guardian relay, activated when 80% of the transducer's full scale is reached. This function alerts the system that a safety limit has been exceeded. In this way, a standard transducer becomes a safety device that communicates with the machine control system, thereby increasing overall operational safety.
