Reliable and safe temperature measurement system
GRMT series melt temperature sensor
A graduated retract thermocouple (GRMT) is used to measure temperatures inside the polymer melt stream. The immersion depth in the hot melt stream can be varied from zero to half stream at maximum flow and pressure without removing the sensor from the adapter. Using the scales on the stem of the temperature sensor, the user can select and monitor the specific depth at which the sensor is located in the melt stream.
