Dynisco Echo™ series melt pressure transducers offer quality performance and value for plastics processing using standard configurations and pressure ranges. Echo transducers are designed to meet customer requirements by providing a combination of economic value and performance for general extrusion applications, while delivering ±0.2 % repeatability in measuring process pressures. Use Echo series transducers when the application requires quality measurement for optimized control, but not the cost of all the additional features. Echo sensors have been designed using best engineering practice, and Dynisco offers a full two-year warranty on them – twice the protection of comparably priced sensors. Echo diaphragms are coated with titanium aluminium nitride as standard, which provides better performance than less effective titanium nitride coatings. Dynisco technology is widely accepted by OEMs and end users around the world. Echo series transducers are available with 3.33 mV/V, 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC outputs designed to work with most industrial control systems. In addition to melt pressure measurement, the Echo series offers optional melt temperature measurement using type J or K thermocouples or RTDs. The Echo series features a 1/2-20UNF or M18 thread for installation in standard transducer mounting holes. Other mounting configurations are available.

Pressure transducers with a flexible capillary are a professional solution for applications with limited space or exposure to radiant heat from the heating elements of production lines. Thanks to the well-thought-out extended design, the transducer electronics are located out of reach of the radiant heat source, reducing the risk of damage.
The flexible capillary is designed to be resistant to damage and to allow a high degree of bending, which makes installation and handling of the transducer easier. The transducer head must be properly secured in the supplied adapter included in the package. For optimum performance, we recommend mounting the adapter on a part of the machine free from unwanted vibration or shocks that could adversely affect the transducer.
Transducers in this series cannot be combined with options such as coatings or special diaphragm designs.
