The DYMT series comprises temperature sensors specially designed to meet the requirements of the polymer industry. The mounting thread is compatible with the installation holes of pressure transducers, so they are ready for use in most extrusion and injection moulding processes. DYMT series temperature sensors are available with an optional tip design. Thanks to the unique design of the elliptical tip, we are able to reduce the friction of the polymer melt against the sensor and thereby reduce or completely prevent the generation of dissipative heat that can occur in this process.
The DYMT thermocouple series is also available with a dual thermocouple or RTD.

DYMT series melt temperature sensor
DYMT series melt thermocouples are specially designed to meet the requirements of the polymer industry. The flexible design of this series allows use in both extrusion and injection moulding processes. The mounting thread is compatible with the threads used for melt pressure measurement. The DYMT series is therefore ready for use in most extrusion systems. Blade-style thermocouples have a unique blade design that reduces friction in the melt stream; a special rotating blade design allows low-friction installation. DYMT series melt thermocouples are also available with a dual TC or RTD.
