The DYKE series comprises temperature sensors specially designed to meet the requirements of the polymer industry. The mounting thread is the same as on pressure transducers, so they are ready for use in most extrusion and injection moulding processes. This series is available with optional ceramic thermal insulation, which prevents heat transfer and distortion of the measured value. These temperature sensors are also suitable for use in highly abrasive applications.

DYKE series melt temperature sensor

Dynisco DYKE series temperature sensors are specially designed to meet the requirements of the polymer industry. The flexible design of this series allows use in both extrusion and injection moulding processes. The mounting thread is compatible with the threads used for melt pressure measurement. The DYMT series is therefore ready for use in most extrusion systems. As an alternative to the DYMT series, the DYKE series offers the option of thermal insulation of the housing. The sensor tip is ceramically insulated from the housing. These temperature sensors are particularly suitable for use in highly abrasive media.
