BP520 series rupture discs provide reliable emergency pressure relief and are equipped with a "pop-up" indicator cap. On activation or emergency pressure relief, the cap is pushed out and the monitoring wire is broken, which opens the monitored loop and allows indicators/controllers to register the state and take further action. These rupture discs are ideal for primary relief in applications with rapid pressure rise, such as polymer extruders and extrusion lines. Each rupture disc is tested at its rated pressure and temperature, marked with laser-engraved markings for better visibility and supplied with a protective cover.
