The BP520 series pressure relief devices provide reliable emergency pressure relief and are equipped with a "pop-up" indicator cap. Upon activation or emergency pressure release, the cap will be pushed out and the control wire will break, opening communication in the monitored loop and allowing the indicators/controllers to note the condition and take further action. These fuses are ideal for primary relief in rapid pressure build-up applications such as polymer extruders and lines. Each fuse is tested at rated pressure and temperature and is marked with laser engraved markings for better visibility, supplied with a protective case.
